Question 1

What is Call Beast?

Accepted Answer

Call Beast gives your business AI phone agents. An agent can answer calls to your number on the schedule you choose, place outbound calls to a contact list as a campaign, hold a natural conversation, qualify the caller, confirm a next step and, when you allow it, hand the caller to a person. Calls can be recorded, transcribed and summarised automatically, and the results appear in your dashboard.

Question 2

Does the caller know they are speaking with an AI?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every call opens with a fixed announcement that the caller is speaking with an AI assistant, before your greeting. Agents are instructed never to claim to be a person.

Question 3

What languages can an agent speak?

Accepted Answer

English and Spanish today. An agent starts in English and switches to Spanish when the caller does, within the same call. Other languages are not offered yet.

Question 4

Can callers speak while the agent is talking?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Each prompt the agent plays also listens: when the caller starts speaking, the prompt stops and the agent responds to what was said. Conversations are turn-based, one question at a time.

Question 5

How does the inbound receptionist work?

Accepted Answer

Buy a number in the app or connect one you already own, assign an active agent, set business hours and time zone, write the greeting and the after-hours message, and switch answering on. Outside your hours callers hear the after-hours message and the call ends.

Question 6

How do outbound campaigns work?

Accepted Answer

Import contacts, choose an agent and a calling number, classify the call purpose and launch. The dialer places calls at a controlled pace, retries where appropriate, and every call is checked against consent records, your do-not-call list, the contact’s time zone and the calling window before it is placed.

Question 7

Can the agent hand a call to a real person?

Accepted Answer

Yes, through pre-approved transfer routes with a destination number and staffed hours. The transfer is cold: the agent announces it, connects the caller to the route and leaves the call. Whatever answers at the destination receives the caller, so choose a number that is staffed during the route’s hours.

Question 8

Does the agent book appointments?

Accepted Answer

The agent confirms a concrete next step with the caller, such as a callback time or a visit, and reads the details back. That outcome lands in the call summary for your team to act on; it does not write directly into a third-party calendar.

Question 9

How does the agent know about my business?

Accepted Answer

From the Knowledge Base in your workspace: text you write, a public web page we read once, or PDF, DOC, DOCX and TXT documents. Ready items are given to your agents as reference material during calls. A guided outline helps you enter hours, services, pricing, FAQs and policies in minutes.

Question 10

What do I get after a call?

Accepted Answer

The call outcome and duration, and for completed calls a transcript, a short summary, a sentiment reading and a lead temperature (hot, warm or cold). Calls on supported numbers are recorded and the recording is attached to the call. Calls can be filtered and exported from the dashboard.

Question 11

Can I connect Call Beast to my own systems?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Webhooks push call and lead events to a URL you control, signed so you can verify them, and API keys give you access to the REST API. Availability depends on your plan.

Question 12

Which phone providers do you use?

Accepted Answer

Calls run on Twilio numbers today. Where a capability is not yet verified on another provider, the app says so and refuses safely rather than guessing.

Question 13

How does pricing work?

Accepted Answer

Call Beast is usage-based and runs on calling credits. Calls draw credits by duration and a phone number has a monthly credit cost; every deduction is listed in Billing next to the call it belongs to. Credit rates and any included allowance are set in production billing and shown in the app when you sign in; nothing on this site is a quote.

Question 14

Can my team share the account?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Invite team members with roles that control what they can see and change. Sensitive actions are recorded in an audit log.

Question 15

What do I need before I can launch campaigns or buy numbers?

Accepted Answer

Business verification. You upload documents in the app; once reviewed, buying numbers and launching campaigns are unlocked for your workspace.
